The Los Angeles native recently shared her birthday nightmare when Taeyang had an emergency blood transfusion. In one of her Instagram stories, Deavan wrote: “Instead of celebrating, we spent our day at the hospital.” Despite what they have been through, the TLC star still looked into the brighter side of life – still happy as she spent her day with her son.

However, the scary hospital moment has been a success when Deavan’s mom, Elicia, posted a photo of a birthday cake with 26 candles on it. She mentioned that her grandson’s blood transfusion went well, and they finally got to celebrate her daughter’s 26th birthday. “Today was hard but good,” she wrote.

Following her scary birthday celebration, the selfless mother was once again horrified as she sent her son to the hospital. In her recent Instagram stories, Deavan encouraged her followers to pray for her family, especially for Taeyang. She also shared a lengthy social media post, stating the “deadly” situation Taeyang experienced.

The young man suffered from extreme fever, which was very dangerous for children who undergo chemotherapy. “I don’t normally like sharing photos like this, but this is reality. This is real life. We aren’t rich, we aren’t famous, we are normal people who did a TV show 3 years ago,” Deavan wrote.

“This is our reality – childhood cancer,” she continued. The concerned fans dropped their loving words and prayers in the comment section, encouraging the “90 Day” alum to stay strong for her son, Taeyang. Later that day, Deavan updated her fans that her son got a successful blood transfusion and his fever dropped to normal.
