90 Day Fiancé Star David Toborowsky Joins ‘Teenage Dirtbag Challenge’

Dubbing himself a nerd, 90 Day Fiancé’s David Toborowsky is mostly unrecognizable in photos of his younger self.

90 Day Fiancé stars David and Annie Toborowsky are firm fan favorites since they first starred in the show in 2017.  Fans have been watching them all along in various spin-offs and the couple has gone from strength to strength. However, fans were shocked and surprised after David shared a series of images of his younger self from the 1980s.

Fans will recall that David and Annie met in her native Thailand and have gone on to feature in various 90 Day Fiancé spinoffs, revealing their romantic journey. In fact, they even landed their own show, David & Annie: After The 90 Days, where the Toborowskys have become one of the most successful couples in the franchise. Moreover, between them, the couple has a following of more than 1.4 million on Instagram alone. With their sweet natures and thoughtful posts, David and Annie keep their fans in tow, all the way along.

However, after David Toborowsky shared a series of images from back in the 1980s, fans would have never guessed it was actually him.

David Toborowsky enters ‘Teenage Dirtbag Challenge’

David and Annie have always remained relatable and down to earth. This is likely why he was comfortable when he “jumped on the bandwagon and did the teenage dirt bag challenge.” In fact, he exposed himself as a Nerd for the viral challenge.

Toborowsky, 54, showed a series of photos from his teen nerd phase where he is barely recognizable. Among the images, David is spotted wearing large orange-tinted glasses and a full head of hair. As the various photos included in the video cycled around, eventually he did look like the David Toborowsky that we know so well. One of the images reveals David, posing next to the Hudson River, with the Twin Towers still standing proudly on the skyline.

Meanwhile, the challenge refers to a meme where users compare their younger self with the latest look, backed by the Wheatus classic track, Teenage Dirtbag.  While he captioned his images “I was a nerd,” in the comments he did confess that he is still definitely in that club.

Fans were quick to comment, with fellow 90 Day Fiancé star, Hamza Moknii posting a heart emoji and a laughing and crying emoji. Naturally, Annie also responded with a series of laughing and crying emojis!
