90 Day Fiancé star David Toborowsky has spoken of his 70-lb weight loss and how important it was for him. As he says, “I can see my toes again,” he also reveals that he lost weight to live longer for his wife, Annie Suwan. Meanwhile, David also spoke about season 2 of their spinoff, David & Annie: After the 90 Days.
David Toborowsky told Us Weekly that he lost a lot of weight when visiting Thailand in 2013. However, since then, his appetite for good food has packed on the pounds again. However, David has revealed that he has lost 70 pounds, adding, “I can see my toes again. It’s been kinda [sic] exciting.”
His main reason for losing weight is to live longer for his beloved wife, Annie Suwan. While 70 pounds is a major loss, David explained that he still has “a long way to go.” Meanwhile, his most significant obstacle to trimming his physique is his passion for food. He said that he loves to eat and loves trying different types of food.
90 Day Fiancé fans will recall that Annie, 30, married David, 54, during season 5 of the TLC reality show after meeting in her native Thailand. During the interview, she joked about his love for eating, saying:
When I sleep, you sneak into the [kitchen] and you’ll hide some food in every corner [to snack on].
However, in spite of teasing David, Annie has been supportive of her husband’s health journey. The 90 Day: Foodie Call alum explained his health regime, saying:
I normally get up, [and] I walk [through the park] once and then she’ll get up and then we’ll walk in afternoon together.
I lost a lot of weight when I went to Thailand the first time in 2013 and I said, ‘I can do it again.’ Walking is critical.
Meanwhile, David also mentioned that his new love for salads, vitamins and a “natural” way of life is also helping his weight loss. Besides looking trim, David’s major goal is to be healthier to enjoy as many years with Annie as possible, as she is 20 years younger. Toborowsky said:
I do wanna [sic] be healthier and I want be around a lot longer for Annie. So, if I can live to be [120], she could die at 96 we’ll go the same time.
However, Annie did reveal that her husband’s new healthy lifestyle hasn’t cut down on their kitchen time together. She says she isn’t just focused on how much he can do for her anymore, adding:
It’s just like, ‘How much can we enjoy the moment?’ [When] we are cooking together, dancing… many, many more [moments] together. I think that’s a romantic moment.
Meanwhile, David agreed with Annie, saying that they make sure to have a date night every night. However, Annie did admit that life isn’t always easy and is often “up and down.” However, at the end of the day, she appreciated everyone who had been on her side throughout.
