Recently, 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed Brown told his fans that he would be undergoing rotator cuff surgery. However, the surgery has now been delayed, so, instead he is going on vacation with his fiancé, Liz Woods. Read on to find out more about the surgery the TLC reality star is having.

90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed Brown was supposed to have rotator cuff surgery this week. However, he has now announced that the surgery has been delayed due to his neck disorder.

Big Ed, 56, originally starred on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with pretty Filipina, Rosemarie Vega. The relationship failed, and he went on to appear in 90 Day: The Single Life with his now-fiancé, Liz Woods. More recently he is starring in season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? However, while he did attract a following before, fans have generally started to dislike the TLC reality star for his treatment of Liz. Even though the pair is engaged, many believe they are not a real couple.

Big Ed Brown and his surgery delay

However, recently Big Ed announced that he was to have some type of surgery. In fact, he and Liz enjoyed a date night ahead of the surgery. While the TLC reality star didn’t reveal the reason for his surgery, many fans were concerned, sending him positive thoughts.

However, Brown’s height and his Klippel-Feil syndrome are causing him problems with his surgery. The syndrome is a rare bone disorder, caused by the abnormal fusion of two or more bones in the neck. Due to his almost lack of neck, Ed has been teased and bullied all his life. Many fans believed his surgery was related to his condition, but he eventually said he was getting rotator cuff surgery.

However, he recently posted a video on his Instagram with the caption, “surgery delay.” In the video, he gave his followers an update about the surgery. In fact, he said they couldn’t do it at the outpatient facility, as they don’t have the “right equipment.” Reportedly, the problem is the size of Big Ed’s neck. Reportedly, doctors are concerned about damaging Big Ed’s airway during the surgery and this is why they prefer to wait and perform it in a hospital instead.

After getting the bad news, Ed decided to go on vacation with Liz to Palm Springs. Basically, he plans to spend time in the pool with Liz, while drinking vodka with ice. Big Ed told his followers to have a nice weekend and fans responded, wishing him good luck when he does eventually have the surgery.
