90 Day Fiance Spoilers: Why Fans Are Not Happy About Debbie Johnson’s Boyfriend

90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that fans of the show aren’t too happy about Debbie Johnson‘s new boyfriend, Tony. Of course, at the beginning of the season, we all were ready for her to find love again and were happy when she said that she was falling in love with Tony. Things have really gotten intense with these two and now it looks as if she is moving in with him in Canada. Her son, Colt Johnson feels that they are moving too fast and he has yet to meet Tony. There is something else though. Fans have started to notice Tony’s tattoos and they may have some racist words and imagery in them.

It didn’t take long for fans to start noticing Tony’s tattoos. There were Reddit users who shared pictures of his new tattoo and they decided to do a deep dive into what it meant. The tattoo in question is on his back and it does take up the entire area. Fans pointed out that it does look a lot like the Croatian flag and then they learned that his family was from Croatia. It didn’t seem like that big of a deal at first, but after diving much deeper into the meaning of it, fans found out that this tattoo is actually pretty offensive.

The checkered pattern that is in his tattoo is part of the seal that was used by the Ustase, which is a Croatian fascist group. This group was known to have killed and harmed many Jews, Serbians, and Romani people in World War II. There were Reddittors that compared pictures of his tattoo with their original seal and it is shocking just how similar they really are. They also used the caption, “Looks like Debbie’s boy toy might be racist or was formerly one.”

When these tattoos went up on Reddit, it didn’t take long for Debbie to lash out at her followers on social media. She has now deleted the posts, but she told her fans that Tony is the least racist person she knows and that these tattoos were all for his home country of Croatia. She told fans that he is not a white supremacist or a Nazi, although these tattoos show something different.

After seeing these tattoos, fans want Tony off of the show. We have seen others fired before for their racist pictures and comments on social media, but if this tattoo really is what fans think, TLC needs to interject here. This man could possibly be racist and could be the worst thing for Debbie.
