When Sumit sits down with his aunt and sister for dinner, they talk about how sad his mother is about his marriage to Jenny. Her mental health is not doing well and she hasn’t stopped crying since. His aunt pointed out that she looks high or drunk in her eyes because of the crying that she has been doing and it is clear that she is heartbroken. Sumit wants to do anything that he can in order to get the love of his family back but isn’t sure what it will take.

As he speaks with his aunt, the discussion of grandchildren keeps coming up. With this on his mind, he thinks about how he has never wanted to have kids and how Jenny cannot have kids nor does she want them. He tells the cameras that they could always adopt or get a surroagte.

As Sumit and his aunt finish talking, he decides that he will give his parents a grandchild since that will repair their relationship. When he gets home to Jenny, he tells her that his parents didn’t show up for their meeting, but his aunt did. Jenny felt like that was a sign and told him that they need to just move to the states.

Jenny is hell-bent on going back to the states and is sure that her family will approve of her marriage and that they won’t have to deal with the hate that they have in India.
