90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that polygamy could end Usman Umar‘s chances at living in the United States with Kim Menzies and with having children of his own. Just as his family gave them the blessing to get married, things seem to be spiraling for the couple now. As they share the good news with Kim’s lawyer, they end up getting some very shocking news that will change their lives forever.

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – The 90 Day Process

On the new episode of 90 Day Fiance, Kim and Usman have a Zoom meeting with her lawyer. They share with her that they got the blessing to wed and that they are ready to get the K-1 visa process rolling. Kim reads from the blessing and of course, in it, we hear that Usman can marry Kim if he takes another life to bear his children. This part of the agreement piques the lawyer’s interest and she delivers some very bad news to the happy couple.

Usman mentions that when he gets to the states, he will also have to continue to visit his family, but that doesn’t seem as if it can happen. Kim’s lawyer tells them, “That’s not going to be possible because what’s going to happen is, you guys have to get married within 90 days and then, after the 90 days, you would file the application for your green card. You’re not going to be able to travel unless you get permission to travel. The main purpose is that you are there to be with your wife. You are in so much love with your wife that you can’t think of yourself being a day apart from her.”

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Polygamy Doesn’t Work for Usman

Another issue that got brought up was the fact that Usman wants to have children with another wife. Kim’s lawyer breaks the news, “Even though it’s okay to do in other countries, in the United States, it’s prohibited. And so, you could lose your green card if it were found that you were a polygamist.” The couple was utterly speechless when she told them this news.

With this shock, Kim is very scared and nervous that now Usman won’t marry her if he can’t have children with another woman. This was not something that either of them even thought about, but when we look at the polygamy laws in the states, it is considered a felony is most states. There are some that consider it a misdemeanor, but it is illegal. How will Kim and Usman deal with this bump in the road? We will have to wait and see.
