Before we knew him on 90 Day Fiance, Alexei Brovarnik did live in Ukraine with his family. He has many family members that are still there and Loren wanted to let fans know what he was thinking with all of this happening right now. She told fans, “He has family there still and he even said, ‘I didn’t think it was going to affect me as much as it did’ and it’s still affecting him.” She also pointed out that the tone in their house right now is a little “sad and scary.”
Loren first met Alexei in Israel, where he was living at the time. He did grow up in Ukraine and this is why things have been so scary for him lately. Loren said that the family has been talking about it quite a bit and she knows that it is important for Alexei to not keep it bottled in.
There have been many 90 Day Fiance cast members, who live in the states now, but were born and raised in Ukraine or Russia. This is a very hard time for them right now. Zara Yara and Natalie Mordovtseva have both posted on their social media accounts to keep their fans updated about their family and friends in Ukraine.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of those who are being affected by the unrest in Ukraine. This is a hard time for them all and we know that this has got to be tough on those who have moved to the states and are so far away from them.
