Thais met Patrick when he was visiting Brazil to see his father. He immediately fell for her and they have been dating for years now. She has been complaining a lot about her new life in Texas even though she has everything that she needs now. She complained about her new home and said it was small and messy. Patrick told her that if she can’t be grateful for what he has given her, then this will not work out.

She grew up very poor and Patrick grew up learning how to survive on his own. In the latest episode, Thais is out shopping for their new home and she sees a $500 rug and a pillow that is $180. This is not the kind of money that Patrick wants to spend though. This brought on a conversation about how much money Patrick makes and he told her that he made plenty. He doesn’t feel as if she needs to know the exact income until they are married.

Thais has shown Patrick a lot of red flags so far and it looks as if fans are seeing them too. They think that all she wants is his money because who would ask such pushy questions about someone’s income if they weren’t? Viewers also think that she is greedy and spoiled and that she isn’t grateful for anything in her new life. She doesn’t like the fact that her future brother-in-law has to live with them either, but if this is the life that she wants, she will have to suck it up.
