90 Day Fiancé Fans Slam Paul Staehle On Hurtful Anniversary Message To Karine

Former 90 Day Fiancé star Paul Staehle sent an awful message for his former wife Karine on Instagram.

90 Day Fiancé fans will recall the stormy relationship and marriage of Paul Staehle and Karine Martins. After having two children together, the American man split from the Brazilian beauty in December 2021. Fast forward to now, and Staehle sent a message to Karine via his Instagram Story to “celebrate” their anniversary. After the Story and the hurtful words were shared on Reddit, fans are angry about his vile message.

While the couple has now split, Paul Staehle recently “celebrated” their anniversary in the worst possible way. It can only be hoped that Karine didn’t see the hurtful message on Paul’s Instagram Story.

Fans will recall that Paul and Karine were always a controversial couple since they first starred in season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. In that season, the Kentucky native flew to Brazil to meet his online girlfriend, Karine. Right from the start, red flags were flying over their relationship, partly due to their age difference, and cultural and their language gap. On the one side, Karine was a young and innocent woman, while Paul had a criminal past.

However, despite this, the couple married and had two sons and several breakups and make-ups along the way. However, in December 2021, with cheating allegations and mutual restraining orders, the couple finally split.

Paul and Karine lose custody of their sons

Before the split, Paul had accused Karine of allegedly cheating on him and said his children had been fathered by someone else. He kept pushing for a DNA test to prove his parenthood. However, Karine wasn’t totally innocent by this time, after a video surfaced of her hitting Paul in front of their child. It quickly went viral and not only did it end their four-year marriage, but it also caused the couple to lose custody of their two sons. The two boys were placed in a foster home and this is where Paul’s nasty message comes in.

Paul decided to stir up some bad memories by posting an anniversary wish for Karine on his Instagram Story. Besides some throwback photos, Staehle wrote, “Happy 5 year wedding anniversary Sorry CPS TOOK OUR KIDS.”

Other posts in the Instagram Story included images of Paul and Karine’s wedding in 2017.

It was Reddit user @pink-peonies_ that shared a copy of the hurtful message on Reddit, misspelling Staehle’s name, by captioning the post, “Really, Pole.”

It turns out Paul is in Brazil and, according to the comments, is apparently “gallivanting” around with underage women, while Karine is in the US, trying to regain custody of her children. In fact, she has started a Gofundme to raise the money she needs to get a lawyer to help her fight for custody:

Reddit users were quick to slam Paul for his hurtful words, with one writing, “He thinks that’s such a flex on her…like no dude, those are your kids too.” Another commented, writing, “This is so f***ed up and I truly feel bad for Karine.” Yet another fan wrote, “This is the most white trash post he’s ever made. Lmao”

Of interest to note, while Paul Staehle’s Instagram account was available a couple of hours ago, at the time of writing it has been deleted. It currently gives the message, “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”

Whether Instagram removed his account for controversial content, or he removed it himself is currently unknown.
