90 Day Fiancé: Ella Proves Her Relationship With Johnny Is Getting Stronger

90 Day Fiancé star Ella Johnson has proven to her fans that she and her Chinese boyfriend Johnny are getting stronger in her recent IG update.

Fans thought that the couple won’t make it in “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” when episode 8 showed Ella’s parents rejecting her proposal to meet Johnny halfway in Dubai. Their comments about the city not being safe for White women drew flak online, and they were accused of double standards for stopping Ella from traveling due to health concerns but pressuring Johnny to come over their country despite having the same concerns.

This happened after Johnny dropped the sad news that his Singapore visa was declined. The Idaho rancher Ella was emotional with his news after months of anticipating finally meeting him in the United States. Her parents were also disappointed with her online boyfriend for breaking Ella’s heart despite Johnny’s valid reasons, including the new Delta wave which he can’t risk getting infected with the virus for he’s taking care of his elderly parents and his son Stony in China.

However, Ella recently revealed that their long-distance problems didn’t break them apart, and it even looked like she has warmed up to her future in-laws. In her Instagram clip, Ella happily told the camera that she got to celebrate the Chinese New Year with her boyfriend and his parents.

Showing off her new hair color and make-up, Ella wished: “Toasting to the new year. The year of the tiger, so hopefully it’ll be our year to shine.”

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Another Day Job

Aside from working on the ranch, Ella disclosed that she actually has another job in mental health. “I serve people every day of the week,” she said while waiting in the car for her “client” to finish shopping.

Aside from complimenting her hair and makeup, fans also praised her for her job revelation. A person with autism thanked Ella and said that: “Girl, the more you share about who you are to the world, the more awesome you become. As a person who has autism, I really appreciate what you do.”

Her followers, who also have partners from other countries, comforted her with their stories, revealing that overcoming cultural barriers is a lifetime process.

“Cheering for you guys. Happy new year and sending you guys good vibes to overcome distance, time and cultural things. After 6 years married I still have to overcome cultural differences,” a fan shared.

“Me 15 years and still trying to understand each other,” another one chimed in.

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – The Real Her

Ella kept more details about her other day job under the rugs and invited her interested followers instead, to purchase her cameos to know “the real” her. “I’d be more than happy to tell you about who I really am,” she teased.

This isn’t the first time Ella encouraged TLC viewers to know the real her after she was blasted for her love for anything Asian and for demanding Johnny to make her his priority. In her previous cryptic IG post, she told the bashers to “be kind” for they only get to see 20% of what’s happening behind the scenes. “… So please keep this in mind when you think [of] me [as] a monster,” she wrote in the caption.
