90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson started to feel protective of his mother when he got curious about Debbie Johnson’s date in San Diego thinking that her mother was being catfished online.

Colt and Debbie made their way to San Diego to meet the latter’s date named Bill. Colt felt the need to be with his mother, for based on his experience, it’s difficult to meet someone whom you have just talked to online, plus the long drive from Las Vegas to San Diego could be draining.

While on the road, Colt asked questions about Bill, to which Debbie happily responded. When Debbie’s friend, Audrey, who accompanied them to San Diego, asked about a sexual conversation online, Debbie admitted that there was no “sexting” happening and won’t encourage the man to send her unnecessary pictures.

However, the fact that Debbie never FaceTimed Bill before hitting the roads to San Diego made Audrey think something was wrong with the man. Turning to his mom, Colt told Debbie about the possibility of being catfished.

“I don’t think you know anything about this guy. I feel like you’re just like, ‘Whatever, I’m going to see some guy I’ve only talked to on the phone who might be catfishing me, I don’t really care, I’ve got nothing else to do,’” Colt said.

Being thrown with questions and negativity with her companions, Debbie started to get irritated telling them they are making her feel stupid. Will Debbie find Bill in San Diego?

When Colt met Vanessa Guerra, he changed a lot, especially in his physical appearance. He started to hit the gym and lose weight. He also let his hair and beard grow, which gained a lot of compliments from fans.

Amidst the support, critics never ceased to voice out their opinions telling Colt that he looked homeless with his appearance. Despite the criticisms, most people commended him on his change in handling his relationship with Vanessa and how they plan to grow their family in the future.
