90 Day Fiancé: Andrei Blames Liz’s Family For His Green Card Troubles

90 Day Fiancé spoilers, news, and updates tease that Andrei Castravet is having problems securing his green card. In a recent episode, the reality TV star blames his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Potthast’s family, for his troubles.

Andrei, who is a Moldova native, is currently living in Tampa, Florida, with his wife Liz and daughter Eleanor. His green card and extension were good for two years, but it has already expired. He turned to immigration attorney Emel Ersa for assistance in becoming a permanent resident of the U.S.

During their meeting, he learned that he had to undergo an interview to get a permanent green card. She revealed that about 95% of her cases didn’t require any interview, especially since he already has a child with Liz, who is a U.S. citizen.

“I fear that they saw something in Moldovan records that would have made you ineligible to get a green card,” Ersa said.

He revealed that he used to work as a law enforcer in Moldova, and during that time, she faced several court cases. He never opened up about his history as a police with Liz because he thought it wouldn’t matter. Now, he’s wondering if it’s going to be a problem. Ersa asked Andrei if he had enemies who may have complained about him, which could be the reason behind his green card issues. He was clearly devastated to learn that, in a worst-case scenario, he may end up getting deported.

On his way home, Andrei said that it’s going to be a shock for his wife once he learns about the news.

“She’s definitely going to have a lot of thoughts and worries about what’s going to happen. Hopefully, we can get through this together and we can just tackle it as we always do our problems,” he continued.

After explaining the result of his meeting with the immigration attorney and that they needed to do an interview, Andrei said that someone has been “snitching” on him.

“Somebody is whispering in the immigration office’s ears and we have a problem,” he believed and that’s when he accused her family. He thinks that the Potthast family is trying to “ruin” his family by snitching on him. He went on to say that they’re jealous and called them a “bunch of losers.”

But Liz defended her family and said that they didn’t even know who to call. She’s clearly worried about the possibility of Andrei getting deported to Moldova. If that were to happen, they would have to start over again after they leave the place they already call home.
