Former 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Varya Malina almost always seems upbeat and cheerful on her posts, but it turns out all is not OK with her.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alum Varya Malina always seems so upbeat, despite the problems with Geoffrey Paschel being in jail. Her posts on Instagram are especially cheerful after she revealed she had won the Green Card lottery. She immigrated to the US last year and is enjoying her life in the States. However, she has recently opened up about a health scare, telling fans that her family has a history of heart disease.

Life has been difficult for Varya Maline since her fiancé Geoffrey Paschel was sentenced to 18 years behind bars. He had been convicted in October 2021 of the kidnapping and assault of his ex. While Varya first moved to Florida, she is now living in Geoffrey’s home in Knoxville, Tennessee, enjoying support from his brothers and friends. However, she still misses her family back in Russia

Recently, the TLC reality star made a post about a trip to the hospital. After Varya made her post, one of her followers asked the reason for her visit, to which she replied:

“Today I was on a screening appointment for one medical research I want to participate in.”

Varya noted that her heart rate was very low at 40 when it should be at least 50. She said the nurse asked her to move her toes and walk a bit to make her heart rate increase, but it didn’t work. She finally thought of something that made her truly anxious, which pushed her heart to beat a little faster.

The doctor complimented Varya, asking if she was a professional athlete, and worked out a lot. Malina said she does go to the gym 3-4 times a week and cycles once a week. However, she then revealed that a number of her family members from both sides of the family had died young from heart problems. In fact, sadly, her father passed away at the age of 49, while her paternal grandparents died from heart problems in their 60s.

Despite this, Varya is doing her best to live a happy and healthy life. She recalled that when she was in 7th grade, she joined her school’s basketball team because she could run a lot. When not playing basketball, she cycled and ran marathons.

As noted by Screenrant, one thing that 90 Day Fiancé fans appreciate is how Varya Malina is so open on social media. Many TLC reality stars only want to show a perfect image, hiding any problems from their fans.
