90 Day Fiancé Alum Deavan Clegg Shares Update On Taeyang’s Cancer Battle

Recently, 90 Day Fiancé fans received bad news about Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee’s son Taeyang. Tragically, the three-year-old had been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic Leukemia. However, after a stay in the hospital, Taeyang is finally back home but will be making regular visits to the hospital for treatment.

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way will recall Deavan Clegg who traveled to South Korea to be with her baby daddy, Jihoon Lee. However, the marriage was fated to fail, what with their language barrier and issues over parenting. When they split, Deavan brought little Taeyang to the US with her daughter from an earlier relationship, Drascilla. On her return to the US, Deavan filed for divorce, while getting involved with an American Korean man, Topher Park. She and Topher are still together and are expecting a child together.

However, Deavan recently shared images of Taeyang and opened up about the tot’s health issue on Instagram. The Utah resident revealed that Taeyang has been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and was undergoing a number of procedures. At the time, the former TLC reality star also shared a link to a GoFundme page in the hopes of gaining financial support for Taeyang. At the time of writing, the campaign has raised $19,703 of its $50,000 goal.

Since Deavan shared the news about Taeyang’s health issue, fans and followers have been very supportive. Meanwhile, they were thrilled to see the latest Instagram Story, where Clegg gave them some good news.

While the cancer war continues, there is some good news about Taeyang’s latest battle. Deavan shared that he was out of the hospital and back at home. In her Instagram story, she shared a cute image of herself and Taeyang with the following caption:

Wonderful News! Taeyang got to come home last night.

Deavan wrote that they are now starting his outpatient treatment and will go back to the hospital twice a week for chemo. Meanwhile, she also shared that on Monday, Taeyang will undergo another treatment. However, despite everything, “Taeyang was so happy to be back home and have morning cuddles.”

While the GoFundMe still has a way to go, hopefully after Deavan shared the update more people will donate to the cause.

Previously, 90 Day Fiancé fans criticized Deavan for her treatment of Jihoon during the TLC reality show. However, after seeing that she is doing all she can for her son, they now firmly have her back.
