It has been a while since 90 Day Fiancé fans saw Andrew Kenton, but he’s back in the headlines.
90 Day Fiancé fans haven’t seen much on Andrew Kenton since he starred in season 8 of the TLC reality show. Dubbed the “daycare dude,” his relationship with Amira Lollysa was a total failure. However, it turns out he kept hold of the expensive engagement ring and wedding band that he bought the French beauty – at least, until now. He has finally decided to sell off the fancy rings, which makes the perfect choice for any 90 Day Fiancé superfan.
90 Day Fiancé alums Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa
When Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa appeared in season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé, it was clear their relationship was doomed from the start. Meanwhile, Andrew hailed from Roseville, California where he ran a daycare with his mom while Amira was from France.
The couple met online and eventually got engaged in Las Vegas in 2018. First of all, Andrew and Amira faced major hurdles with getting a visa due to the pandemic. There was also drama when Amira was stuck in Mexico while trying to cross the border with incorrect documents. Meanwhile, one day before Amira was set to fly to America, she and Andrew got in a big fight over whether or not to have kids. Eventually, during the Tell-All Amira revealed she has already found a new man.
When they eventually split, Andrew asked for the rings back, but Amira wasn’t cooperative. In fact, he claims he had to send her almost $300 in Kim Kardashian makeup to persuade her to return the rings.
Engagement ring and wedding band for sale
Speaking to TMZ, Andrew said he moved to California earlier this year. In the meantime, he left and ring and wedding band with his family. However, eventually, he decided to put the rings up for sale. According to Kenton, they hold many old memories and are a sad reminder of his time with Amira. Meanwhile, as he has no use for the rings, Andrew believes it is a golden opportunity for any 90 Day Fiancé superfans to own a piece of the show.
In fact, Andrew has put the rings on eBay with a bargain opening bid of $1,000. However, according to an appraisal he got in 2019, they are worth $7,300. It sounds like a true bargain! The ring, made by Neil Lane, is 14 carat white gold with a princess cut and an emerald sitting on a crown of diamonds.
While Andrew and Amira have moved on, the rings are the only unfinished business from the ill-fated relationship. However, Andrew does hope to sell them off and start life afresh with no more memories of Amira.
