1000 Lb. Sisters – Tammy Slaton’s Siblings Offer Update
In today’s 1000 Lb. Sisters’ season finale Tammy’s siblings update fans on her emergency hospital admission. Tammy was so sick on the way to rehab that Chris Combs had to put her on her Bi-pap machine. At this point, Tammy’s oxygen had dropped to 65%.
Chris drives Tammy Slaton the last two hours and 20 minutes to the Windsor Lane Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Chris reveals that the next day Tammy stopped breathing and was rushed to the hospital. It was four days before they knew if Tammy was going to survive. At the end of 30 days, Chris says Tammy had lost 115 lbs. and was doing well.
1000 Lb. Sisters – Tammy Slaton’s Friend Reveals Progress
1000 Lb. Sisters Tammy went into the rehab facility and stopped vaping, junk food, and drinking cold turkey according to a close friend. “Tammy has made tremendous improvements in the rehab facility.” Tammy has increased her physical activity and can do more for herself. Tammy’s goal was to be in the facility for eight months before her hospital stay. Currently, Tammy still hopes to be out of the facility by summer. Tammy feels that she is missing out on her nephew’s childhood and that is her motivation. However, Tammy had to have a tracheostomy to maintain an airway. Current photos posted by Tammy on her social media show that she still has the trach tube.
1000 Lb. Sisters – Siblings Worried Tammy Waited Too Long
1000 Lb. Sisters’ Tammy’s siblings thought that she had waited too long to get help. However, Tammy seems to have pulled through her latest health scare and is on the mend. With Dr. Smith’s help, Tammy has gotten back into rehab and she is working on her weight.
Once Tammy Slaton reaches her goal, Dr. Smith has promised to do Tammy’s surgery. Has Tammy already gotten her surgery? After all, Tammy had dropped over 100 lbs rather quickly. If Tammy has been in a facility since November as some reports suggest, she may have had the surgery by now. Tammy’s rehab facility specializes in bariatric patients and could be helping her to lose even more weight.
Tammy’s fans have been very worried about her this year and want her to get control of her weight loss and depression. Hopefully, next season will be about Tammy’s surgery as well as Amy Halterman’s baby number two.
