1000-Lb Sisters spoilers, news, and updates tease that Tammy Slaton was unable to afford the rent of her home as she still pays for her high-priced rehab.

In the previous episodes of “1000-Lb Sisters,” Tammy Slaton was left alone at home when her sister, Amy Slaton, decided to move out and stayed at her newly purchased house with her husband, Michael Halterman, and son, Gage.

After her extreme food addiction, Tammy decided to go to a rehab center to help herself lose weight. However, the TLC star lost her home when she cannot anymore afford her $239K duplex in Kentucky.

During her interview with The Sun, Amy revealed that TLC was not paying for her sister’s rehab so the whole payment was taken from Tammy’s social security check. “That’s why I hear she doesn’t have a place to live because she can’t afford the rent,” she stated.

Amy planned to let Tammy stay at her $37.5K home until she can find a place to live. When asked about Tammy’s condition in the rehab, Amy declared that she was not sure when her sister would come back but she believed that Tammy got the help she truly needed.

Previously, Amy shared her frustration when Tammy had to be put into a medically-induced coma due to her lungs problem. She also blamed her sister’s ex-boyfriends for putting Tammy’s health at risk that they never encouraged her to eat healthily. Amy wished all the best for her sister and hoped that Tammy can already qualify for weight loss surgery when she comes out from rehab.

Before Tammy stepped back to rehab, she was thankful for being alive after she experienced carbon dioxide poisoning that led to some complications, in which the doctors had to put a tracheostomy tube in her neck.

Despite her health battles, people never ceased to criticize the TLC star for being irresponsible with herself. Tammy responded to her critics saying: “I don’t care about my health? I wish y’all would give me some credit. Honestly, I’m trying but y’all just want to keep holding me back.”

Even if she faced critics online, Tammy still has fans who continue to support her, especially on her weight loss journey. Recently, she posted a photo on her Instagram page and fans filled the comment section with love and positivity.

One fan commented, “You look good!!! Keep up the good work.” Another one chimed in, “Love you. I know it’s a hard road but you’re killing it.”
