After standing out in season 3 of 1000-Lb. Sisters fans are thinking that Nurse Tisa deserves her own spinoff series.

Even though both Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman’s future on the TLC reality show is up for debate, TLC has yet to say yay or nay about either a fourth season of 1000-Lb. Sisters or the show’s cancelation. It’s becoming apparent, though, that fans would like to see a 1000-Lb. Sisters spinoff, this time with Nurse Tisa as the star. 1000-Lb. Sisters Spoilers & Nurse Tisa

Fans will remember Nurse Tisa as being good for Tammy Slaton, but they’ll also recall that Tammy was extremely difficult for Nurse Tisa. In fact, many believe it was Tammy that drove her from the show.

In season 1 of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy, along with her sister Amy Halterman, vowed to turn her life around after doctors told the pair that, if they didn’t, they might not live much longer. Although Amy, who aspired to be a mother, succeeded in qualifying for bariatric surgery and ultimately had a baby boy, Gage, Tammy did not.

1000-Lb. Sisters Spoiler – Amy Slaton Didn’t Want A Nurse

After years of caring for her sister, in Season 3 of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy and her brother Chris Combs decided they needed to hire someone to care for their difficult sister. Even though Tammy made it clear that she didn’t want a nurse, Amy explained to her that she had become too overwhelmed to continue caring for both Tammy and baby Gage. Enter Nurse Tisa.

Fans didn’t initially believe Nurse Tisa would be able to handle Tammy’s rough nature as Tammy was rude to the nurse right away. Eventually, though, Tammy began to soften to Tisa and allowed her to support her during her weight loss journey. Now fans want Tisa to come back to TLC with her own spinoff series.

Over on Reddit one user sparked up the conversation, writing, “Nurse Tisa should have her own show. She’s awesome!” Another fan agreed with the post sharing, “I really enjoyed the episodes with her in them. She gave another layer to the show.”

Fans remarked how Tisa “kept it real with Tammy,” and one commented, “I really enjoyed the episodes with [Tisa] in them. She gave another layer to the show.”
