Since the show began, Tammy has met with two different doctors, Dr. Proctor, and Dr. Eric. Fans feel that these doctors have been too kind to her and have treated her like a child and that could be one of the main reasons that she hasn’t lost the weight that she should have by now. It also looks as if she just can’t hold herself accountable and this is why she can’t lose those extra pounds.
Tammy has refused to try any of the steps that these doctors have suggested to her. As blunt as they tried to be with Tammy and tell her that her life is in danger, she still won’t listen or make the changes that she needs to her diet. She has been bound to her bed and she has a lot of problems just walking to the bathroom. Does she not see what is happening to her?
With her drinking and vaping, it seems that Tammy Slaton really doesn’t want to change anything about her diet or health. She could be delusional at this point to think that these bad habits won’t take a larger toll on her life. She has mentioned that her family gangs up on her and they just won’t leave her alone. Perhaps she isn’t aware that they trying to help her stay alive.
Is Tammy delusional about her weight? From the looks of it, she is. We will have to wait and see what happens next on the show to see if she gets her motivation.
