Victor really might believe Ashland’s being attacked for no good reason, but he is pushing it too much. It’s possible that Victor has known the truth for a while and is fooling everyone. The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Investigating Ashland Locke

Y&R spoilers reveal that Victor and Ashland didn’t have the greatest beginning, especially with what happened during the heart attack. Ashland was determined to get revenge and at the time, it was believed that was his motivation for romancing Victoria. Ashland is a tough man to figure out and fans are divided on him.

Even though Victor seemed to accept Ashland and Victoria’s engagement, the patriarch was also quietly investigating him. Ashland did get an alert that someone was asking questions when an old business associate gave him a heads up.

Y&R Spoilers – Sudden Acceptance

Victor was not the only person who was poking around in Ashland’s past. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) were also checking into the media mogul. However, both men had different agendas. Ashland decided to confess a partial truth and Victor acted as if he believed it. Whether he really trusts Ashland’s story remains to be seen, though.

Nick ended up finding some incriminating information and called Ashland out on it in front of Victoria. Meanwhile, Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) came to Genoa City and demanded more money from Ashland.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Being Too Helpful

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victor seems to be a bit too helpful. He is acting buddy-buddy with Ashland without having all the information. Victor also took care of Jesse for Ashland. However, how Victor did that was never revealed. We know that Victor confronted Jesse at the Grand Phoenix. It is assumed that Victor paid Jesse off, but Ashland warned that blackmailers never really go away.

Victor said that he was aware of that, so he might have simply put Jesse in his back pocket for the time being. Then, Victor kept telling Ashland that he would do whatever was necessary to make sure Victoria’s wedding wasn’t ruined. While Victor does go to extremes to protect his loved ones, he seems to be pushing this a bit too much.

Y&R Spoilers – Public Exposure Planned?

This all seems to be coming to an explosive exposure at Victoria and Ashland’s wedding. What Victor has discovered about Ashland could be so sinister and awful that simply telling Victoria might not be enough. Victor might want to make sure that Ashland is publicly exposed and the wedding might be the perfect avenue for that. However, what exactly does Victor know that hasn’t been revealed on-screen? We will have to keep watching to find out what happens next.
