The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) initiated the effort to buy Chance Comm. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) heard Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) make the pitch. But, as he said, it was his wife’s idea.

Lily’s tell to Billy, before Vashland’s arrival at BiLily’s penthouse, was on the mark. She tagged him appropriately, forcefully assessing him as impulsive.

Billy’s latest, reckless act leaves this division of his mother’s company vulnerable but potentially in a better than expected position.

Victoria plays up to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Yes, she is a daddy’s girl.

Victor allowing Victoria to become the head of Newman Enterprises resulted in her already healthy ego catapulting into the stratosphere. It is visible in the northern skyline of Genoa City, Wisconsin, if residents look just below the Victor constellation.

As Victoria said, Victor expects his daughter to fight hard. So, her attempt to buy back the company she sold to Billy after taking the reigns from Victor is just business.

Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke Does Not Look Good

Fans are suspending disbelief when seeing Burgi on screen. They know the real-life actor is fine, but the character he portrays is dying of cancer.

Ashland’s latest health episode had him holding his stomach. He has endured many breathing incidents and is sometimes unable to maintain his balance.

The Locke’s just returned from a purposeful Peruvian trip. Ashland advised Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that he completed his first regimen of the experimental protocol. Possibly, the effects of a successful cancer fight are being witnessed?

Billy suggested that he leave Chance Comm and that Lily remains as the sole boss, rather than continuing as a dual leadership team. Vashland liked that idea, as long as Newman Enterprises obtains the company.

It appears as though Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton), who is teased to return shortly, will have at least one if not two bids to consider. Newman Media anticipates buying low. But Newman Enterprises’ push into the picture means that competition exists, which should drive Jill’s potential asking price higher.

So, Billy’s blunder could yield positive money results for Jill. However, she could opt not to sell and endure the daytime storm. Whether she wants Billy to stay on board is another question that will soon be answered on Y&R.
