Y&R Spoilers: Victor Newman Goes Too Far

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that the Newman family is raging against the Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) machine. Why? He is no threat to their so-called family, Newman Enterprises or Newman Media.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reached the same conclusion as Billy regarding Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Victoria Newman Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) brother and ex-husband, who is the father of two of her children, distrust Burgi’s character. But neither exposed him.

So, Nick is given a pass and Billy is the ogre?

What type of human being relentlessly pursues a man whose daughter was accidentally killed by his son? Incrementally insert Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Billy, Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the unnamed characters mentioned in the last paragraph.

Ruthless was and remains an apt tag for the grayed Moustache. He apparently has nothing better to do than target Billy for a takedown, which underscores that the dirt Billy dug hard to get is seen as a real threat.

The endless vendetta Victor pursues against Billy is based on his overblown feelings about Victoria’s supposed pain. Can anyone say helicopter parent?

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is A Brat

Yes, it has been written and read. Victoria is a brat.

Ashland is her newest enabler. He falls in line behind Victoria’s chief apologist, Victor. The Moustache is the head brat.

Is Victoria smart and gorgeous? Yes and yes. But she also runs to her dad whenever anything does not go her way. Now, she can run to Ashland as well.

And what has Billy done that is so wrong? He learned that Ashland stole his best friend’s identity while that person was dying. No one on either side of the screen knows if Ashland has told the whole truth about what happened in that car accident or if he caused it.

Then, there is the Camilla Rhodes (no actor known to be cast for this retrospective role) steal. Ashland stole her inheritance, not Billy.

Yes, Billy was a gambler, a carouser, and a lout. But the man admitted his mistakes and is better now.

Okay, Billy left Delia in the car on that fateful night. Does that mean that he is responsible for Delia’s death? No, it was an accident. And whoever caused it, be it Adam or the other driver, whose face was never shown, was at fault.

Adam is allowed redemption and Billy is not? Victor, Victoria, Adam, and now son-in-law, husband, and brother-in-law Ashland are pushing that lie.

Billy is on a redemptive path and while it looks like Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is part of the hypocritical crew that intends to take him down. Hopefully, Billy has one last card up his sleeve and wins or, at least, neutralizes what has become an unnecessary game.
