Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) made his feelings for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) perfectly clear a while ago already, but he was determined to respect that she was in a relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Well, that relationship is over now and so far, all Phyllis has wanted to do is use Jack as a sounding board as she goes over what went wrong with Nick this time around.

Poor Jack was getting a little frustrated with only hearing about Nick, but he was willing to listen. And all that listening leads the pair to have an intense few minutes on Wednesday that have absolutely nothing to do with Nick — for a change. Is Phyllis beginning to realize Jack has always been the man for her as he now feels she has always been the woman for him?

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were alarmed enough when they learned that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) turned baby Dominic over to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and not them when she couldn’t handle the pressures of grief and motherhood. Yes, he is the baby’s biological father, but there was no reason they couldn’t have helped.

Well, Ashley has even more disturbing news for Abby’s dad when she tells Victor that Abby took off and left the Chancellor mansion for alone time. Is Abby going to be ok? Should they just leave her alone for now or does she need some serious help?

Noah (Rory Gibson) seems to have returned to town after going through a lot of angst with an ex we know nothing about. He’s been quite secretive for a while now although his family would love him to spill all the dirt.

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is also feeling the angst as Noah’s sister, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), seems to have lost the plot and is obsessed with this baby she carried and has pretty much shut Tessa out of her life without realizing it. To that end, Noah and Tessa turn to one another and commiserate about their sad lives. Considering the fact that this pair once dated, this friendship can turn pretty interesting one day.
