The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) questioned Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about “not being okay.” Next, Devon turns to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for advice. Could that advice be about the safety of a child with a parent who has PTSD? It seems as if Devon is looking for a reason to fight for custody of the baby.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) isn’t the only one to feel a connection to Chance and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) baby. Devon has a strong bond to the child, too. The difference is how each of them deals with the connection. Mariah became obsessed with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor in a very direct and obvious way. Devon was more private and low-key about it, so it went undetected for the most part.

When Abby left Dominic with Devon, he became even more attached to the child. It actually might be Devon who tries to get custody of the baby, not Mariah as many previously speculated.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor’s Trauma

Devon made it clear to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that Chance left his family when the surrogacy was being planned. Devon felt it was irresponsible, but Victor assumed he was just reacting to the grief and uncertainty of Chance’s situation.

More recently, Devon and Chance ended up at the same bar. Chance opened up a little bit but didn’t go into detail about his trauma. Devon specifically told Chance that he “kinda doesn’t seem okay.” Devon played it off as if he was concerned about Chance, but what he does next shows that he’s actually concerned about the baby.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon will turn to Nate for counsel. Devon will probably ask about trauma and if there are safety concerns. Nate won’t be able to really say as every patient and experience is different. However, Nate will probably give a best and worst-case scenario, unaware that Devon’s talking about Chance. Devon could use the information as ammunition to get custody of Dominic.

Y&R Spoilers – Justifies Custody Battle?

The only person who really knows that Devon is having a hard time giving back Dominic is Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Could Amanda help Devon try and get custody of the baby, or will she reason with the man she loves?
