While they exhibited this in different ways, Mariah is healing from her fixation while Devon’s is increasing. With Devon, it’s due to him taking care of Dominic full-time while Abby searched for Chance. Now that the parents have reclaimed the baby, Devon is having a hard time coping with Dominic being gone.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) suggested that Devon simply ask Chance and Abby for more time with Dominic. However, Devon decides to go one step further and actually try to revise the legal contract. In the contract that Devon signed, it gave him certain “rights” to Dominic, but only as an uncle and friend. It likely also limited the amount of one-on-one time that Devon gets with the baby unless approved by the legal parents.

Devon won’t just ask for more time with Dominic. Devon wants the legal documents changed to give him an increased presence and more important role in the baby’s life. Amanda will warn Devon about going this route instead of simply asking the parents for more time… and she might be right about this.

It is teased that Chance and Abby are stunned when they learn what Devon wants to talk to them about. Abby becomes alarmed while Devon notices that Chance is clearly uncomfortable with his role as a father. Could this only fuel Devon’s desire to get even more time with the baby? Will Abby deny Devon’s request and if so, could it lead to a legal battle? If so, could it ruin their friendship forever or is there a compromise in all of this?
