The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Has Been Gone An Extended Amount Of Time

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Chelsea has been gone an extended amount of time. After finally getting herself out of the mental health facility Victor had helped her get into to avoid prison time by pleading insanity she had went to stay in Minnesota with her mother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) and had initially wanted to take their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) along with her, but that didn’t last long. Adam condescended and then changed his mind, and Victor took Connor back to the Newman Ranch where he’s been staying with his grandparents ever since.

Chelsea hasn’t been happy with her lack of contact with her son, although occasionally she’s been allowed to face time with him. Connor knows that she’s alive, at least and that she seems to be okay. Luckily for him, he had not been at home when Chelsea suffered her devastating aneurysm burst as viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall. In part, that was what drove her mad with revenge, leading her to set up Adam as the attempted murderer of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) with the assistance of Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

Y&R Spoilers – Newman Security Alerts Victor And Adam That Chelsea Has Arrived

Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine that Victor and Adam will be surprised that Chelsea is waiting at the main house on the Newman Ranch! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Chelsea and Adam haven’t communicated a whole lot lately and when they have, it has been rather contentious! Victor and Adam head over to the main house to meet Chelsea. They arrive to find her talking with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Adam in particular is shocked since he figured the last person she would have wanted to deal with is Victor, and he could have been at the ranch house when she came.

Victor and Nikki decide to give Adam and Chelsea a little privacy, and leave the room. It’s a little awkward – they haven’t been around each other in months in person. There is a definite sense of tension, since Adam has already given Chelsea his penthouse he knows she must be there about Connor. At first, Chelsea makes small talk, asking him how Connor’s stay at the ranch has been. Adam assures her he’s been fine, and being around his family members has been good for him – Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is even giving him riding lessons!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Things Get A Little Weird

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless know that for literally years, Adam had an obsession over Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Things get a little weird when Chelsea questions Sharon living so close by with Adam living at the ranch also! Adam assures her he’s barely seen Sharon since he’s been living there. Then Chelsea tells Adam about her progress in therapy – she’s learned to be more direct. Viewers of The Young and The Restless should notice that difference in communication style as well. Adam realizes that Chelsea looks and sounds better than she did before she went away, and that she seems happy.

Even though their marriage and second try didn’t work, he still cares and wants the best for her as the mother of his child. That is why he gave her the penthouse and has a job waiting for her at Newman Media. The one thing they definitely agree on is that they both want the best for their son! But then she wants to know if Adam has missed her- and he thought he’d made it clear in their previous Skype sessions that it was best they go their separate ways! Their relationship had blown up in a huge way and Adam still doesn’t think getting back together is good or healthy for either one of them! Chelsea on the other hand wants to talk things out and quite possibly give their love another try! Adam realizes that his being direct about that being a hard pass may need to wait, not really being sure of her emotional state.
