On the show, Clarkson told Zeta he had cheated on her with not one, but three co-workers. Expletives flew between the couple on the show. Despite this, Tim and Melyza announced after their appearance that they are not only still together but are happily engaged. Meanwhile, fans are confused as both of them have mysteriously deleted all their previous Instagram posts.

Fans will remember from season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way that Tim’s cheating had split the couple apart. However, despite their drama, they were pretty boring when compared to other stars of the spinoff. Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh, along with Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee caused much more excitement among fans. Tim earned the nickname “Mr. Cheesestick” while Melyza always sported a deadpan expression.

Tim had relocated to Colombia in the hope of winning back Melyza’s trust after he cheated on her. However, he ended up not settling with Zeta in Medellin and returned home in the finale episode of the show. Soon after the finale, the couple starred on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Strikes Back.

On that show, they revealed they were no longer together. Fans put this down to the toxicity of their relationship, especially as Melyza had spoken about the break up even before they appeared on that show.

After all the drama, it was announced on Sunday that Tim had returned to Colombia and had proposed to Melyza. She obviously accepted, as she then gushed about the proposal. Meanwhile, Tim declared Zeta is the “only woman” for him.

Both parties shared cute photos to their Instagram accounts, with Melyza flashing her engagement ring for all to see. However, fans noticed right away that both Tim and Melyza had deleted all their other past posts from their feeds. The only ones that remained related to the surprise engagement. Possibly they didn’t want reminders of their troubled past together?

Most 90 Day Fiancé fans were thrilled by the good news and congratulated Tim and Melyza in the comments section. One fan wrote that they are “rooting” for the pair, while another cautioned Tim, writing “Treat her right.” However, many want to know what happened to totally change their relationship.

In a post on Reddit, titled, “Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Cheesestick on their engagement,” most fans were also happy for the couple. However, some theorized that Tim and Melyza are trying to get on another 90 Day Fiancé spinoff. One fan commented, asking if this means the couple wants to star on Happily Ever After. Another asked, “What does this mean? Season 9 comeback?” One fan wrote ironically, “Ding ding ding! We got a winner. Gotta [sic] get that bread somehow during a global economic crisis.”

So, maybe fans will get to see Tim and Melyza on yet another spinoff in the 90 Day Fiancé saga. We guess we will have to wait and see.
