Was Stephanie’s Drinking Scene With Harris Staged For 90 Day Fiancé?

90 Day Fiancé fans recently revealed shock over drunken scenes of Stephanie Davison on the TLC reality show. They questioned how the network could air such troubling scenes. However, fans have often questioned whether the TLC reality show is scripted. In this case, fans wondered if the drunken scenes with Stephanie and Harris were staged on the reality show. One fan provided proof that something was amiss.

Many 90 Day Fiancé alums, including Deavan Clegg, have claimed that the TLC reality show is scripted. In the March 14 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, fans saw Stephanie and Davison downing plenty of wine. In fact, Harris went so far as to claim he loved Stephanie, while drunk.

There was something amiss about Davison’s hair during that episode, where she wore pigtails. This led fans to wonder if that episode in particular was staged for effect.

On the episode, Stephanie was dodging calls from Ryan’s mother, Dorla, who is worried about her son. Meanwhile, she was having fun with Ryan’s cousin Harris. Because of the stress over Ryan’s mom, she asked Harris to “plan something fun” to surprise her.

Harris did that in spades and managed to get from the couch to Stephanie’s four-poster bed by giving her copious glasses of wine. While Stephanie said she trusts Harris “100 percent,” fans were concerned over their budding toxic relationship. They already know that Davison and Ryan were no longer together when the show was filmed. However, on top of this fans spotted something strange about Davison’s hair in this episode. In fact, she seemed to have several hairstyles in one scene without appearing to change anything.

Stephanie recently claimed on Instagram that she had not been drunk or on drugs for a while. However, when Harris turned up with her favorite $15 wine, she soon changed her tune. In fact, she asked her new lover to fill her glass “to the rim.” As the pair rapidly downed the wine, Harris told Stephanie that he wanted to be with her body.

Stephanie asked him if he didn’t care about Ryan being upset about them being together. Harris obviously didn’t worry, because he told her, “I love you so much.” It was at this point of the show that fans were distracted by Stephanie’s appearance. Without the cougar doing anything, her hair suddenly went from being tied in pigtails to hanging free and back again.

One particular Instagram fan account, @90day_e11 noted this fact. They wrote, “Watch Stephanie’s hair in this scene… we all know that TLC is the king of editing storylines, but they had to work overtime to get a coherent, cohesive conversation out of Stephanie.”

With their post, they shared a speeded-up version of the scene from the TLC show, which clearly reveals her hair changing, out of the blue.

The 90 Day Fiancé fan page received many comments from fans. One wrote, “literal [sic] 6 times back and forth,” while another commented, “I saw that and it drove me crazy.” Another fan was obviously irritated, writing, “I was so annoyed! I noticed her hair the whole time!!!! Bad editing.”

Watching the clip does make it seem that this particular episode of 90 Day Fiancé was highly edited. Another commenter on the scene said that while the conversation seems to flow naturally, it was “obvious it was spliced together.”
