Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) didn’t want contact with Kyle. Then, she suddenly appeared in town.

Kyle was stunned to hear his former love interest admit that Harrison Locke (no actor known to be cast for this role) was his son. Some reflection time and a warm conversation with his aunt, Tracey Abbott (Beth Maitland), proved affirming.

Mealor’s character concluded that he was not going to allow Tara, or his fear of her infamous husband, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), to block his paternal rights. Kyle compared his own backstory to Harrison’s and decided that an assumed legal fight would be worth it.

The teased arrival of the Locke’s in GC will further this developing storyline. Y&R fans rightly expect dramatic bumps to lengthen the process.

Marriage and children were topics that Summer and Kyle were optimistically considering last year. Harrison’s existence doesn’t have to end that shared outlook. Instead, this situation can prove to be a seminal period in Skyle’s history.
