The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers say that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has certainly found herself in the same place that she’s been in many times before. Even though she’s supposed to be happily married to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), she is going to find herself spending a lot of time with both Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but for totally different reasons. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previews everything that fans can expect to see in this fictional town of Genoa City. He says that when it comes to Sharon, she is certainly going to have a lot on her plate, especially now that both she and Nick will have to work together for the sake of their daughter, Faith Newman (Alyvia Allyn Lind).

Griffith says, “Nick and Sharon will be challenged as parents when Faith’s behavior takes a turn for the worse. Faith has not fully recovered from the trauma of Sharon’s cancer and being bullied. Faith will be very resistant to help until Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] steps in to take control. Nikki and Sharon will put their differences aside to help Faith.”

If that weren’t enough, Rey won’t be too pleased to see Sharon spending more time with Adam Newman that she has to and of course, neither will Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), In fact, Griffith says that Adam and Sharon’s bond will be exposed in a very public way and it will also set the stage for a dangerous turn of events for Chelsea and Rey. We have a feeling that Sharon might want to watch her back, especially knowing that Chelsea is capable of just about anything!
