The Young And the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Sharon Shocked By Health Crisis – Therapy On Hold While Rey Recovers

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will need to attend to her suddenly sick husband. Buzz indicates that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will need to be taken to the hospital.

Whether he’s suffering from a treatable malady, or is diagnosed with something more serious will soon be known. But there’s no doubt that the high stress level he’s been enduring, due to Shadam’s latest dangerous flirtation, wasn’t helpful.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Marriage Therapy Is Wise

Rey loves Sharon deeply. He’s been willing to rationalize and then forgive her ongoing interactions with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that even included a public kiss at Society.

Sharon was reluctant to agree to Rey’s reasonable search for a couple’s solution. Rather than impulse into a separation that would have given Adam a clearer shot at Sharon, who would have been even more vulnerable, Rey took a proactive stance.

Marriage therapy was scheduled and hopefully is able to happen as soon as Rey regains his health, unless he doesn’t?

Y&R Spoilers – Jordi Vilasuso’s Status Solid?

Vilasuso joined the cast in 2018. He helped to build out the Rosales family, which was the first new clan that Y&R introduced in many years.

Rey’s undercover work later led to a full-time job with the Genoa City Police Department, where he works under Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). Of course, longtime Y&R fans and supporters of daytime in general have been wishing that more scenes for the chief, Paul, would be written. Hopefully Davidson’s iconic character will visit Rey in the hospital, or during his assumed recovery.

There is no available information that states, or even implies that Vilasuso is leaving the cast, or that his character is being written out. So, Shey should continue on.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Split Between Two Men

Sharon loves Rey, but is hung up on Adam again. She’s currently searching for a keepsake knickknack that Adam bought for her a number of years ago.

Y&R’s creation of a flashback scene had Case and Grossman portraying somewhat younger versions of themselves at the cottage, as Adam gave Sharon the item that’s been misplaced, or was taken. Her latest recollection further demonstrated that Sharon still has Adam in her heart, with him seemingly being in the forefront.

If Rey’s health crisis doesn’t serve as a clarion call, then nothing will. Here’s hoping that Sharon chooses Rey. Although, Y&R has been increasingly pushing a Shadam revival for many months.
