Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has finally had it when it comes to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and all her myriad of troubles. She knows that woman is determined to cause problems for Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor), despite her little poor me, innocent act. To that end, Phyllis takes her daughter aside and gives her a harsh warning. Summer needs to stop playing nice and fight for what’s hers — or in this case who’s hers, and that would be Kyle Abbott.

Will Summer take her mother’s advice resulting in the gloves coming off and the claws coming out? It’s never been like Summer to ever back down from a fight before and she knew there had to be something off about Tara from the start.

While Tara Locke makes Summer Newman’s life a living hell, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has been a nice addition to Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life. He would have been a nicer addition if he wasn’t dying from cancer.

When Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) question their daughter incessantly about what happened on her trip to New York with Ashland, will Victoria tell them the man’s health secret? After all, he did tell her everything in confidence and she has really come to care for the man.

Elena (Brytni Sarpy) has had quite a year in Genoa City. From loving Devon (Bryton James) and cheating with Nate (Sean Dominic) to thinking she loved Nate and cheating with Devon. The woman never seems to know what she wants, but she apparently knows what she does not want and that’s to be alone.

That is probably why she begins testing the waters again with Nate. And she might find out she has some competition in Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose). Will Elena take that information lying down or will she do her best to be with Nate once and for all?
