Y&R spoilers reveal that one of the biggest storylines right now is Chelsea hiding her recovery from a stroke. She has a plan for revenge and is getting help from Chloe. As the weeks go by, certain things are going to happen that will make Chelsea and Chloe look guilty of framing Adam. However, there could be a whole other branch of this story that will eventually connect.

Once Rey gets his diagnosis from the hospital, his entire world will crumble. It is stated that he will have a rude awakening. The new issue of Soap Opera Digest also teases that Sharon will be blaming Adam. Not only does she have missing items from her house, but she will get a message from Adam that unnerves her. Of course, the person who really sends it is Chelsea.

This week, Sharon will go get Rey some soup and she just happens to run into Adam. Put all of these together and Adam looks guilty via Chelsea’s revenge. However, there is another possibility.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Calles just scored an exciting new gig. It’s unclear if she is leaving Y&R. When characters exit, they are usually (not always) given an explosive story to explain their absence. Add to this that lately, all Lola has been doing is hanging around the restaurant. She hasn’t had a story in a while. Even though soap scribes tend to “rest” characters in between stories, Lola was completely ignored during February Sweeps. Could it be due to her having an explosive exit story coming up?

Now, Lola will interrogate Sharon when she comes to pick up the soup for Rey. While she would never do anything to intentionally hurt him, Lola might know the poison dosage isn’t lethal. She might also just want to “save” Rey from heartbreak and a life of misery by proving something. Could the poisoning be Lola’s attempt to “show” him who Sharon is?

Even though it might be a stretch, it is possible. These days, it is getting harder for soaps to shock viewers. So, maybe Chelsea, Chloe, and Adam are just red herrings meant to misdirect us.
