The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will struggle with a secret as she realizes she may be pregnant in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Slept With Two Men Within Hours Of Each Other

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Elena had slept with Devon Hamilton, (Bryton James) who she was still involved with and living with just hours before she and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) had what could be described as “stress sex” on an examining table at the New Hope Clinic that night. However, Elena had been having continuing insecurities over Devon’s relationship with Amanda Sinclair, (Mishael Morgan) his late wife Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin.

Devon had been helping Amanda by talking to her about what her twin had been like, gave her some information about Hilary such as her birth certificate to help her track down their birth mother, and in general was being a good friend. However, Elena had a problem from the get-go with Devon’s “obsession” with Hilary and keeping so many remembrances of her in his penthouse when they were first moving in together. She demanded he move on from Hilary’s ghost before she would get any more serious with him.

This likely has been a factor in her jealousy of Amanda and her insecurities over Devon. These insecurities were a factor of her giving into lust with Nate as well, who had been dating Amanda at that time. Both of them immediately regretted their actions and Elena had insisted Devon and Amanda never find out, but her guilt was too great and she confessed to Devon the night he was supposed to receive an award. The consequences of her confession wound up in Nate never being able to be a surgeon again due to severe injuries to his hand when a livid Devon went after him!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Has Not Even Had Time To Think Of Her Health

Elena has not even had time to think of her health, since she and Devon broke up a couple of months or so ago. He kicked her out of his penthouse, forcing her to think quickly to find a place to live. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) offered her to stay with her, which she happily accepted. Elena has been dealing with her grief and regret over hurting Devon and cautiously progressed into a social friendship with Nate, although they have been on some dates. All involved are healing emotionally, and now Elena has an uncomfortable realization – she has not had a menstrual period in nearly three months!

She checks her personal calendar where she keeps track and realizes she hasn’t had one since before she and Devon broke up and she and Nate slept together. She remembers back to that twenty-four to forty-eight hour timeframe and recalls the last time she slept with Devon was very close to the first time she slept with Nate! One would think that Elena, as a physician, would keep up with herself better than that, but she has been very distracted. She decides to do a pregnancy test on herself but in the hospital lab, because she wants to be sure and she doesn’t want Lola to know about this.

A telltale home pregnancy test in the bathroom garbage can would not be something she wants to talk about just yet. She hasn’t had any morning sickness like some women do, but there has to be a reason for her missed periods. She struggles with her secret as she arranges to do her pregnancy test at work. She also struggles with the potential outcome, and how Nate and Devon will react if it’s positive, and the consequences of not knowing who the father is!
