The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Bill Spencer Hints At Past Affairs With Traci and Ashley – B&B Crossover Flirts Up a Storm

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) didn’t seem overly fond of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) when he saw him in the Jabot conference room. The same chilly atmosphere often existed when Jack and Brad Carlton (Diamont) were in the same room years ago.

In the long-running tradition of crossovers between Y&R and The Bold and the Beautiful, Diamont’s return to the set was noteworthy. It was the first time he’d been on-camera since 2009, when his stalwart character was killed off.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Previously On Y&R

As hardcore viewers know, Jack and Brad were a short-lived team. At one point they actually were in control of Newman Enterprises. Their mutual distaste for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) drove a shared agenda. Separately, Brad’s involvement with Jack’s sisters and other ladies sparked a good deal of drama between both men.

Brad’s write-out was very sad. He rescued Noah Newman (as then played by Kevin Scmidt), who had fallen into icy water. Brad drowned in the process twelve years ago. The daughter he had with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok), later drowned as well, with Brad being shown as part of her passage to heaven.

Y&R Spoilers – Jabbing At Jack Rabbit

Brad often took punches at Jack, mostly with verbal swipes. The same was true of Jack with his then nemesis. They battled over Brad’s personal connections, which included marriages to Traci and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Brad and Ashley had a son, Robert Carlton (no actor cast for this role), who was stillborn.

Viewers see the hard wink that’s intended when Bill calls Bergman’s character Jack Rabbit. That and Bill’s seeming joke about knowing Traci and Ashley intimately is a clear play off the tension that used to exist between Jack and Brad, along with a dash of Diamont’s current character.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra In The Middle

Bill has no love for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Jack doesn’t love her yet, but has taken that B&B crossover character under his wing.

Time will reveal that Bill’s experience and opinions about Sally are worthwhile. Jack isn’t aware about what just happened with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Sally accepted and used a blackmail gift against Mealor’s character that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) returned to GC to deliver.

As was true in days gone by, Bergman and Diamont’s daytime alter egos are clashing. What’s produced as a result will soon be seen by all viewers.
