The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Remembering Neil

It’s been more than two years since Kristoff St. John passed away, leading The Young and the Restless to have to kill his beloved character, Neil Winters. We’ll never forget the episode when Society opened, Lily (Christel Khalil) was finally freed from jail, and Devon (Bryton James) found Neil dead in his sleep before heading to the opening. The look on Lily’s face when he told her the news was haunting.

Eventually, Y&R did a memorial service for Neil that broke our hearts and included flashbacks. They also broke the fourth wall for a very special episode where the actors appeared as themselves and spoke to the audience about St. John.

Y&R Spoilers – A New Memorial

On Friday, Neil’s children are finally ready with the memorial they are dedicating to Neil in the park, and this time Moses (Dax Randall) is a teenager who can join them as they walk the park and also remember their father. Neil didn’t get to raise Moses at all as his mother moved them to New York when Moses was small but Neil visited as much as he possibly could.

We will be treated to more flashbacks of Neil’s life in Genoa City, including scenes of his marriage to Drucilla (Victoria Rowell), Neil’s longest relationship until she died. Theirs was a complicated marriage although they were always in love from the start. The young girl with an attitude and the young man who was determined to climb the corporate ladder and did.

Lily and Devon are able to teach Moses more about his dad and the special man he was. They will take a walk down Y&R memory lane and remember decades full of scenes and stories with characters we miss like Malcolm and Dru’s sister, Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams), who also happens to be Nate’s (Sean Dominic) mother.
