The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Hunter King (Summer Newman) had such a fun time during her special crossover episode with The Bold and the Beautiful that she wouldn’t mind going back to their fictional town of Los Angeles. In fact, a lot of B&B fans would say that they would love to see her back in the world of Spencer Publications and Forrester Creations, too. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the brunette beauty makes it no secret that she was quite excited when she found out that her character would be crossing paths with The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) and Katrina Bowden (Flo Fulton) for the special crossover arc. And of course, the episode turned out to be a huge hit with viewers, too.

Hunter told the publication, “I’ve known that the two shows have done crossovers before but I’ve never done one. It’s always exciting to go over to the CBS shoes. I always have so much fun when I make appearances on the Prince is Right, so I was thrilled that I could go over B&B, too.”

Hunter also said that she enjoyed getting to know Darin Brooks a little better, as she first met him through his wife, The Young and the Restless alum Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac) Browning). She said that he made her laugh so much, that they actually had a hard time getting some of their promo work done!

She continued, “I told the crew, ‘This is not how I normally am, honest. I blame Darin for this! And oh my gosh, Kartina is so lovely and sweet. I’ve only met her maybe twice before this and she made me feel at home and asked questions to get to know me a little more. Now we are back and forth on Instagram. And I loved her on 30 Rock. I was so much fun working with actors that you normally see in the hallway and you kind of know them, but not really.”
