Sally is a wildcard in more ways then one. TPTB seemed to be chem testing Jack and Sally like mad over the holidays, with Jack inviting the vixen to the Abbott Mansion for Christmas Eve. Of course he did tell her he invites everyone in town, hint hint, but nonetheless she popped up and got to flirting like crazy.

Some fans are voicing dismay over the age gap, but others see in Sally a younger version of Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford), one that Jack can’t resist.

Gloria and Jack had a little thingy that went nowhere, much to Glo’s and the fans’ dismay. News broke this week that she is returning to town and this has some thinking a love connection is on the horizon. Will Gloria be the one to finally bag Smilin’ Jack? She is in the running based on past history and fan sentiment. Felonious Gloria would bring a tangy zest to the Abbott Mansion that is sorely needed as her last visit to Genoa City proved.

Jack and Lauren were involved in the past and she’s now with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) who is never seen, let alone with his wife onscreen. There is a reason Jack and Lauren are seen doing business onscreen more often these days, with lots of talk about the past. This week they reminisced about how they used to be the young guns running the town and it’s not the first time there has been chatter like this which makes us think Lauren and Jack 2.0 could be the thing everyone needs in 2021.
