According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, before he found out about the pregnancy, Liam was hoping to confess to Hope that he had indeed slept with Steffy. But now that he knows she’s pregnant and there might be a possibility that he is the baby daddy, he’s in a very bad situation. That’s because the pregnancy shifts everything.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Scott Clifton, who plays Liam Spencer on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “Liam has already been plagued with guilt but once Steffy tells him she’s pregnant, then Liam says, ‘The jig is up, I have to tell Hope now, because what if I end up being the father?’ If Steffy is going to take a paternity test, somehow Hope is going to learn that Steffy took a paternity test and why would Steffy need to take a paternity test? Liam also doesn’t want to ruin things with Steffy and Finn. Steffy has fallen in love with a good guy who is stable and supportive and, as far as we know, faithful.”
