B&B Spoilers: Li Finnegan Stirs Up Major Drama

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Naomi Matsuda is joining the CBS sudser as Li Finnegan, the mom of Dr. Finn (Tanner Novlan). She is married to Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and both will soon be in LA to visit their son and brand new baby grandson.

Soap Opera Digest had the opportunity to interview Matsuda and she spilled a few delicious spoilers about her upcoming The Bold and the Beautiful role. Keep reading to find out what we can expect when a new character hits the ground running in LA. Matsuda’s first airdate is Aug. 2 and her arrival promises to usher in all kinds of potential for drama and suspense.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Naomi Matsuda Plays Li Finnegan

So far the show has kept a tight lid on details about Finn’s past and this includes his family. This week Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) agreed to marry Finn and said she is looking forward to meeting his family. Finn then got a look on his face that either registered intestinal gas or emotional discomfort or both. Is Finn hiding something about his family and his relationship with them?

We know nothing about Finn’s family on The Bold and the Beautiful, but since Finn is a doctor it should come as no surprise that his mom is a surgeon. According to Masuda, “She grew up on the East Coast. She’s very busy, so she never really thought about having children. She didn’t realize until later that she wanted to be a mother; she’s very much dedicated to her work but also to raising her son. It’s nice to see that passion for helping people, maybe, in some way, came from her.”

B&B Spoilers – What Happens Next For Dr. Finn?

Does anyone think that Li could be a helicopter mom based on Matsuda’s description of her? Could be! Matsuda also dished on what it is like working with King: “The first day he just made me feel like, ‘Naomi, it’s okay. Everything is good.’ He was so inviting and that’s why I wasn’t nervous because I was welcomed so beautifully, and the energy was so easy flowing. It’s been very nice.”

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Finn’s Parents Arrive And He Has Heartburn?

We can’t wait to see what happens next, when Steffy meets Finn’s parents. We assume they won’t be staying overnight, since Sinn are letting Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) occupy the spare room! What will the ‘rents think of that situation?
