But what kind of friend would he be if he didn’t tell him the truth? Ridge tells his friend about Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), but the story is not believed. That is until Ridge repeats something Zoe said, then it brings Carter back to reality.

B&B spoilers reveal that Ridge tells his friend that Zoe might not be the woman she appears. When Carter is confused about the statement, he asks Ridge to elaborate and explain. Eventually, Ridge can’t skirt around the issue anymore. He announces that he will no longer be the best man at the wedding. After he gets that out, Ridge explains that Zoe isn’t loyal, that she flirts with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), and it’s been happening since the beginning. Carter has serious doubts about Ridge’s story. He says that it’s impossible, Zoe’s words were probably misunderstood, it’s just innocent flirting with no intention of anything more, and even blames Ridge at one point.

B&B Spoilers – Carter Walton’s Feelings

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Saint-Victor explained just how strong Carter’s feelings are for Zoe.

“To Carter, she’s the one. He is absolutely in love with her, and he thinks the feeling is 100 percent mutual. All those reasons Zoe gave for her hesitancy, he accepted. Now, since her change of heart, he’s overjoyed. He’s not walking on the floor, he’s floating through Forrester Creations.”

When the actor talks about Zoe’s change of heart, he’s referring to the model telling Carter that she wants to set a wedding date right away. It’s her devious attempt to do damage control and has no idea if Ridge exposed her or not.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Carter has such a hard time accepting what Ridge is saying about Zoe. He just doesn’t want to believe it’s possible and is using every angle possible to somehow explain or justify it. However, Ridge repeats one sentence that Zoe used during her conversation with Zende. She told the designer that they should give in to their feelings. It is these words that force Carter to accept Ridge’s story as true. There is no misunderstanding that statement and it shows she was deliberately going to betray him.

Ridge was concerned about how he broke the news to Carter. Knowing how much he loves Zoe, he was going to be shattered. Ridge was careful in how he brought up the topic, but at the end of the day, Carter is one crushed man. He has been betrayed by the women he planned on marrying, as well as his best friend.
