The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is clearly still in love with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). That feeling is unlikely to instantly change if he is confirmed as the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.

John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has fallen hard for Steffy, as he’s told her on a number of occasions. Finn has already said that if he isn’t confirmed as the father of the baby, then he will remain with her. That promise seems likely to be kept.

Liam easily projects as a responsible father to Steffy’s baby, if he is proven to be that. This statement can be declared based on how he’s cared for three children, two of which are his own and the other, who is adopted.

Clifton’s The Bold and the Beautiful character has proven that he is a good person by accepting Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) into his life and home. He is Hope’s adopted child, but Samiri’s character is also Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) son.

Douglas is treated as though he is Liam’s own son, which is something Thomas has recognized and appreciates. That, along with the relationship Liam has with his daughters, is something that Hope admires. She doesn’t want to disrupt their family no matter the outcome of the paternity test.

Steffy wanted Liam to keep silent about her pregnancy on The Bold and the Beautiful until they had a chance to conduct a paternity test. However, she eventually realized that Liam’s instinct was right and that they should tell the truth to Hope and Finn before any testing was conducted.

It was noteworthy when Steffy began setting rules for Hope, Liam, and Finn. She understands why this trio is unsettled. But, B&B spoilers tease Steffy can’t allow any one of them to generate stress because that would not be good for the baby.

B&B has created another complex conflict. But viewers understand that even if the writing staff has Liam identified as the father, with Hope staying with Liam and Finn remaining with Steffy, that plenty of drama possibilities would still exist.

Neither couple has to end in order for Liam and Finn to continue to debate each person’s role in Steffy’s life. Hope’s choice to basically share Liam’s time with Steffy would be stretched by the arrival of another Steam child. But this scenario would be supercharged in that instance.

So yes, both couples can persist and drama can be furthered, assuming that B&B is creating an arc that moves in those directions.
