So, Steffy’s dilemma involves potentially choosing to have a paternity test that doesn’t necessarily have to include Finn’s awareness of it. That wouldn’t be honest. But if she goes that way, then Liam will need to know about the deception.

If Finn is the father, then Liam will need to keep a secondary secret. If Liam is the dad, then all will need to come out, likely including the manner in which the paternity tests were handled. That would bode even worse than what Clifton’s character already preparing for.

So, even if Steffy has the dual paternity test conducted and Finn is confirmed as the father, Sinn and Lope could still face heave repercussions in the near future.

Liam’s attempt to be honest would seem to give him and Steffy a chance to keep their relationships intact, verses withholding information and then hoping it’s never exposed. Yes, this is another classic daytime conflict, with various sets of outcomes in play.
