Sister Wives: Christine Celebrates Thanksgiving After Kody Brown Split

The 49-year-old Sister Wives veteran took to Instagram earlier this month to announce her break from Kody, 52. Fans will know that the two have been together for 25 years and share a 23-year-old son, Paedon, and five daughters, Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.

The Sister Wives veteran took to Instagram on Thursday sharing an image of her Thanksgiving celebration with her mom, Ruth Ann LeBaron, and daughter, Truely, in front of the Christmas tree, all wearing matching blue pajamas. They seemed to be having a wonderful time together. She captioned the image with “Matching pajamas with my Mom and Truely!”

In another Instagram post the reality TV star shared an image of daughter Truly playing a Harry Potter board game and, apparently, winning. To that end, the image was captioned with “I am so tired of LOSING the Harry Potter Clue game. Truely WON and this wad of paper is her score card!” A forlorn Christian then tagged the caption with “#losing #losinggames #clue #harrypotter #timetocheat.”

Sister Wives Spoilers – A Sad Parting Of Ways After 25 Years

The announcement that the Sister Wives star made this month regarding her split with Kody brown was of a sadder nature than these festive posts with the reality TV star writing, “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” the TLC star said in her statement announcing the split.

“We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

She wrote the words across a beautiful sunset backdrop and captioned the post with “Thanks for your understanding and compassion!” The post had no comments as she evidently didn’t want to discuss the matter with fans. Kody married Christine in 1994 when he was already married to wives Meri Brown and Janelle Brown.U

In his own statement Kody Brown reported that the split came “with a great deal of sadness.”
