British royal family news reveals that no matter the circumstance of their private relationship, Prince William and Harry are said to both be resolute that they will stand together for the unveiling of a statue of their late mother Princess Diana in London this summer.
Sources say that the pair are, “still committed’ to coming together,” for the occasion, and the statue was a joint venture on their parts.
Royal Family News – Princes Will Come Together
The royal family, exclusive of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been the subject of scrutiny after the pair dropped bombshells in an interview with the talk show maven.
On March 7 the pair accused the royal family of mistreatment and yesterday William, Duke of Cambridge, was the first to verbally acknowledge the allegations.
William admitted he had not spoken to Harry about the show but denied his brother’s claims that the family are racist.
Royal Family News – Prince William Has Spoken Out
Royal editor Russell Myers said today that the brothers will display a united front later his year to honor their mother.
On the Lorraine show Myers said it would be a, “monumental period,” for the brothers, whose reported rift appears very real after Harry and Meghan dragged him and the rest of the family in the explosive interview.
Myers said, “William is still committed, as is Harry, to get together on July 1st for the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue at Kensington Gardens.” The commissioned statue of their mother Princess Diana will be unveiled on July 1 at Kensington Palace, on what would have been her 60th birthday.
“So this could be a monumental period for these two brothers. We’ve spoken about this rift for so long, but this would see them coming together for the greater good and I’m sure everyone will be delighted if that happens.”

During his tattletale interview with Oprah on Sunday, Harry made reference to the rift with his brother when he said, “As I’ve said before, I love William to bits. He’s my brother. We’ve been through hell together. I mean, we have a shared experience. But we’re on different paths.”
Yesterday William insisted the royals were, “very much not a racist family,” as he and his wife Kate were on duty at a royal event.
Russell said, “We haven’t heard from the palace directly but people I’ve spoken have said indirectly the Queen and Charles were rather happy that William had spoken out.”
