On Sunday, February 14 the popular franchise show NCIS Los Angeles returned to the airwaves after a weeks-long absence. The episode was titled The Frogman’s Daughter. In it fans saw Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) desperately searching for his daughter who had been kidnapped.

During the episode fans watched as NCIS Los Angeles’ headquarters had a visit from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The person who was sent out to gather some intel was DHS Agent Megan Merkel (Tiffany Smith).

Yep, if the next name that came to your mind was ‘Meghan Markle’ you’re not alone! Meghan Thee Duchess was not on the show but it looks like the show’s writers had a moment of fun playing around with a similar sounding name.

But wait, there’s more! Viewers may have been subject to whiplash. That’s because the actress in the part is a dead ringer for the Duchess.

Actress Tiffany Smith looks like Meghan Markle so all around there were probably some laughs on the set that day.

Don’t believe us? It’s true, Smith has starred as Meghan before, in Lifetime’s movie Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal in 2019.

Smith can be seen in the upcoming mini-series Masters of the Universe: Revelation as Andra and she has appeared in Supernatural, Jane the Virgin and Into The Dark.

Meghan Markle’s most recent foray into acting was last April when she had a voice-over role in Disney+’s Elephant documentary.

The real Meghan Markle is expecting her second child with Prince Harry.
