British royal family news reveals that crafty Prince Charles today either snubbed or celebrated his trash-talking son Harry on social media. It’s hard to tell which given the circumstances of their reported estrangement, a situation made worse by Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle ripping his family in a shameless Oprah Winfrey tell-all.

The occasion was his grandson Archie’s second birthday. On his official Instagram, he posted, “Happy birthday to Archie, who turns two today.” Charles chose to include a black and white picture taken on Archie’s baptism in 2019.

Charles hasn’t seen Archie in person in 18 months, not since his parents spectacularly threw the family under the bus with Megxit, publicly humiliating them while abandoning the monarchy all in one swift kick in the pants.
After Charles’ post royal watchers were quick to note how it differed from birthday wishes to his other grandkids, and the possible significance of this difference.

Royal Family News – Prince Charles Wished Archie Happy Birthday

Some royal fans made the point that Charles did not post birthday wishes for the sixth birthday of his granddaughter Princess Charlotte on May 2 nor the third birthday of Prince Louis on April 23.

In turn, some suggested that Charles’ public shout-out, with a picture no less, was a gesture of goodwill toward Harry. The picture shows grandfather and grandson together, with Harry in the frame. Mom Meghan is nowhere to be seen.

Royal Family News – Did Prince Charles Just Pull A Smooth Move?

In the pic, Harry gazes down at Archie while Prince Charles looks on, smiling. It would appear to be a nice gesture on Charles’ part, to acknowledge the son who so ruthlessly mocked and criticized him in the Oprah interview.

Harry whined that his dad was no longer giving him spending money and called him “trapped” within the monarchy, a fate he was lucky to escape after being “educated.”

But one wonders if Charles didn’t stick the dagger right back at his ingrate son. The Markle’s have complained long and loud about wanting to be left in private and have sued anyone who dares to take Archie’s picture.

Isn’t Charles poking the bear by posting a photo of Archie? Today his parents deigned to release a photo of the tot but showing only his backside. Clearly, Charles’ posting of Archie for all the world to see goes against the Markle privacy policy. Well played Charles, well played.
