British Family news while there’s no doubt that the global pandemic that has been Covid-19 has certainly changed the way that a lot of people act and operate in this world, the same can be said about the royal family. While it’s been more than a week since Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have welcomed their son August Brooksbank into this world, it doesn’t look like many of his closest family members have met him. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News – Princess Beatrice Is Yet To Meet Her Nephew August Brooksbank
There’s a new report that says even though Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice are very close, Beatrice is yet to meet her nephew. That’s because Eugenie, Jack, and their new bundle of joy must remain in quarantine for at least two weeks before they receive any visitors. The Brooksbank family are currently enjoying their first week as a new family of three at home in Frogmore Cottage near Windsor Castle. Because Princess Beatrice is still in London, she must quarantine before she visits her sister, brother-in-law, and new nephew.
If that weren’t enough, reports also say that new grandparents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson also have to wait before they meet their first grandson, too. This has been a rather difficult time for the Duchess of York, as she has made it no secret that she’s very excited to be a grandmother and of course shower her grandson with all of the love in the world.

When Will Baby August Meet His Royal Family?
There is also no indication that other members of the royal family such as Prince Charles, Prince William or Kate Middleton have any plans of visiting Eugenie, Jack and August in the near future. What’s more, it might be a very long time before Queen Elizabeth even gets to meet her great-grandson, seeing how she has been spending all of her time in quarantine in Windsor Castle. She has only seen members of her family sporadically of the last year and during the times that she did, everyone had to comply with social distancing rules. With that said, both Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip have received their Covid-19 vaccines.
