British royal family news shows that Pouty Prince Harry’s infamous 2020 Remembrance Day wreath still lies in its box.
Now comes news that the Princess Royal will accompany her mother, Queen Elizabeth, to the event this year. The service marks 100 years of the veteran’s charity and their attendance was revealed on Friday when Buckingham Palace released a list of engagements.
The news came shortly after Harry’s Wreath Incident was revisited. It was recently announced that the RBL still have Prince Harry’s wreath in a box because no one wanted it laid for fallen service men and women in November 2020.
Harry Had A Pouty Fit
The Princess Royal has several military titles and is expected to be given one of the honors Harry rejected when he chose a life of financial freedom over family and duty. Going forward she will take on a greater role within the family it is predicted.
Harry spent ten years in the Army learning among other things how to make his bed. He wanted someone else to lay a wreath for him and was reportedly “deeply saddened” by the lack of action on his behalf.
Instead the hot head grabbed a private photog and along with Meghan they stomped on graves at Los Angeles National Cemetery to make a point. No one was amused at their act of sacrilege.
Back in England the real royals fulfilled the duties Harry refused to. Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince William and Kate Middleton were those who attended the socially distanced Service of Remembrance.
Harry Pitched A Fit
Rebecca English said in the Daily Mail that the Queen herself, not officials, denied his request because he is no longer a senior royal, a move that made perfect sense to everyone except Baby Harry.
A source told the Daily Mail, “Remembrance Sunday is sacrosanct when it comes to Her Majesty’s diary…It’s one of the most important dates in her calendar and nothing is done without her knowledge.”
So it appears Harry will not play a part in the service at Westminster Abbey on October 12 when the Queen and Anne will preside.
The Queen Has Abundant Common Sense
Prince Harry’s estrangement from the family is bound to be a topic due to his absence even though the Queen is a patron of the charity and Princess Anne is President of the RBL women’s section.
